Started working in Chakkar & Co. in 1939. He left work in this company due to refusal of partnership share to Karam Singh Bhogal in 1942. Mohinder Singh Bhogal worked for three year without any remuneration. It was Mohinder Singh Bhogal's first revolt against docile simplicity of his father after which he stated his own work. Such revolt form the base of progress. No longer prepared to remain a prisoner of the deceit, practiced by Chakkar & Co. owner. He started working in another company in 1942.
By the age of 15 yrs, he made the new historic lathe machine, but had to go through prosecution due to the existing laws under the British rule. He even had to burn his feet with hot iron fillings to escape prosecution but he remained undeterred. To prevent him in his mission, again they tried to register another case of cycle theft on him. But could not prove it because his hard work and sincerity endeared him in the locality. Later, he rented a place and started his machine at Miller Ganj in 1945. Before partition, Mohinder Singh Bhogal & Suchinder Singh Bhogal would attend R.S.S branch meetings, made handguns for freedom strugglers.
Sd. Mohinder Singh's younger brother Suchinder Singh made a very valuable contribution. The two brothers worked shoulder to shoulder under the guidance of their father. Sd. Suchinder Singh was so strong in operating machines, all the workmen and the member of family conferred him the title of fourman (because his work done was equal to four individual men).
The seeds of hard work, loyalty & authenticity sown by the lineage started growing by 1948 when Bhogal Sons was established by Late Sd. Mohinder Singh Bhogal. A new era of technological expansion had begun with the selling of bicycle components under the BHOGAL trademark in 1950. The first automatic lathe machine was crafted in Bhogal Sons in 1952 and Hon'ble Lal Bahadur Shastri, (Union Minister of Industries, Govt. of India) visited the factory to see the machine. In 1958, he established the first automatic machine manufacturing plant which followed up by developing the first environment friendly and energy saving Cold Forging Technology for bicycle components in India in 1979. Sd. Mohinder Singh Bhogal dedicated his services for 25 yrs. as an advisor to PFC (Punjab Financial Corporation).
With the blessings of Sd. Karam Singh Bhogal, the foundation of Bhogal Sons was established by M.S Bhogal, which was later on joined by his younger brothers. The Doyen of bicycle industry continues to live through his sons Sd. Avtar Singh Bhogal and Sd. Harinder Pal Bhogal who have brought the business to new heights with the changing world. His ethical aura has become the guiding star to his bloodline.
In 2007, both the sons established M.S Bhogal N Sons dedicated to the son of saintly, dynamic and legendary grandfather Sd. Karam Singh Bhogal.
